This Privacy Policy explains how the bp golf app ("bp golf", "we", "us")
collects, uses, and protects your information. By creating an account and using
the app, you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
- Account information: the name and email address you
provide at sign-up, and a securely hashed password. We never store your
password in plain text.
- Golf data you enter: rounds, scores, shots, club
distances, handicap, and related statistics you log in the app.
- Subscription status: whether you have an active trial or
paid subscription. Payment card details are handled entirely by Apple or
our payment processors and are never seen or stored by us.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide the core features of the app — tracking your rounds and
generating your performance analytics.
- To manage your account and your subscription entitlement.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the service.
How Your Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the
service providers required to operate the app:
- Apple — in-app purchases and subscription management on iOS.
- RevenueCat — processes and validates subscription status.
- Stripe — processes payments for web subscriptions.
- Google Cloud — hosts our application servers.
- Neon — hosts our database.
- Golf course data provider — used to search course and tee
information when you start a round. Your account data is not shared with
this provider.
Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You may request
deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing
bpgolfservices@gmail.com. We will
delete your data within 30 days of a verified request.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with our
hosting providers using industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission
or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children's Privacy
bp golf is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be
reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
